About Us
Lyrical Gardens is a licensed in home day care that specializes in before and after school care for children, ages 5 through 11. We are located in Woodinville, WA and cater to children attending Bear Creek and Cottage Lake Elementary schools.
During the school year, we offer many art and crafts, musical, and educational activities. We have a large house with a park-like back yard, and Rainbow Play System, perfect for sparking the imagination.
We believe that a healthy self-esteem is the critical component to optimal growth in young children. At Lyrical Gardens, we will work with your child to help build socialization and self-help skills necessary for achieving a healthy self-esteem. We provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment in which your child will know that he or she is loved, valued, and wanted, and can achieve his or her maximum potential.
Our hours are 6am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
Our Program
During the school year, we offer many creative activities including drawing, painting, arts and crafts, story time, legos, and blocks and puzzles. In the afternoon, we assist your child with his or her homework, paying special attention to areas you feel your child needs help with the most.
Our daily program includes:
- » a healthy breakfast
- » transportation to and from school
- » a healthy snack
- » free-time play
- » help with homework
Each child will also have a designated planting area outside that he or she will cultivate with a flowering plant or vegetable brought from home.
During the summer we offer continued learning activities, presented within the context of fun weekly themes, such as the ocean, music, space, and dinosaurs. Other fun activities during the summer months include water play, our Rainbow Play System, gardening, and possible field trips.
